At Principato di Parrano every experience is carved into the territory and into its millennia. You descend into karst caves where thermal water has carved the rock, you ride through woodlands, you hunt truffles in the valleys, you swim in the castle pool above the rooftops of the village. Nothing built on paper: everything answers to what nature and history have sedimented here.

Thermal waters in the castle
The Thermal Baths flow inside the Castle between millenary stone walls. The SPA, carved into the rock, is divided into private spaces with pools, saunas and treatment rooms.

The song of the estate
The 1,260 hectares of the Principato are home to a rich birdlife, including the hoopoe — symbol of Parrano and undisputed star of the Umbrian woodland. Dawn walks through vineyards and oak groves, listening for rare species in an unspoilt habitat.
